Do unto what others what you would others do unto you

One of the subject that i take this sem, media ethics,
had learned a lot of philosophers.
one of the philosopher, Thomas--The Golden Rule
One of sentence,
'Do unto what others what you would others do unto you'
means that if you want others treat u good,
then at first you need to treat others good...

in reality,how many people actually can do it?
i also cant do it,i can say that...
